Jeffrey Crosby

Jeffrey Crosby was born in Jacksonville, FL but grew up in Cottageville, SC. He chose to enlist in the Army because he knew he needed a change in his life. The structure, discipline, and respect helped shape Jeffrey into who he is today. He also knew he wanted justice for his country following the attacks on 9/11. In 2005, he was deployed to Iraq for 12 months. Although he came back relatively unscathed, he should have been killed multiple times. He believes God had a purpose for him, which may have been to train the mobilizing soldiers how to look for and avoid IEDs. He likes to think that something he said may have helped save their lives. Jeffrey also worked as a police officer and in the Chief Administration Office in DC as a military/veteran liaison. He is now an officer in the National Guard and lives on a small farm with his wife, Renata, and one-year-old daughter, Emersyn.
