Stephanie Gattas
Gulf War and post-9/11 Navy veteran Stephanie Gattas served two overseas tours on the USS Simon Lake. After leaving service in 2015, she founded The Pink Berets, an organization that assists women service members and veterans who struggle with Post Traumatic Stress and Military Sexual Trauma. Most recently, she founded Confidence & Co., which is currently in development to bring stories of our “Unsung Heroes” to the forefront. She also recently Co-founded Reveille Coffee Company which she will launch soon. Ms. Gattas attended the University of Incarnate Word with a major in Business Administration. She has sat on the Advisory Board for the Association of the Advancement of Mexican Americans at Risk Youths Programs; the advisory committee for San Antonio Behavioral Health where she was instrumental in the development and launching of the Yellow Rose Unit for active-duty service women struggling with addictions and Military Sexual Trauma. Currently, Stephanie sits on the steering committee for the Military Women’s Coalition started by Dr. Ellen Haring, former CEO of the Service Women’s Action Network in Washington D.C. as well as on the committee for the Arts in the Armed Forces. Most notably, she sits on the panel for the MACTeach PTSD project where she educates young men and women on the effects of PTSD within the family system.
